Hello! My name is Susan Ingram, but you can call me Sue! I am the owner of Take The Lead: a complete and professional pet care and dog walking service. My passion is pets and, now, pets are my profession!
_________
For as long as I can remember, pets have always been a part of our family. The moment I realised that I wanted to turn my passion into my profession, was when I got my first pony at age thirteen. All I have ever wanted to do was to work with animals; from my first job which was at the National Foaling Bank in Shropshire, to attaining my British Horse Society teaching qualification, working with Greyhounds in training, and a receptionist in a busy Veterinary Surgery.
I have always thoroughly enjoyed training my own dogs; from the Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Scheme to Gundog training and competitions. My personal and professional experience and qualifications with animals has given me an excellent understanding of the varied and complex needs of a large range of animals. At Take The Lead, safety and animal welfare are my top priority, so fully understanding your pet's needs is essential. With over 30 years experience both personally and professionally of owning and caring for pets, I offer a responsible, reliable and caring service so you can be assured that your pet will be well cared for.
I am fully Insured, DBS checked, Dog First Aid and CPR trained, belong to the Professional Dog Walkers Association, and I am training with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers.

I had the opportunity to write an article for The Linton News December 2020 issue, which was featured on the front page.
The article was about the increase in pet theft since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, and it includes my top tips for keeping your pets safe.
